LINK and LINK19 College logo

In 2018, Ifield School's sixth form, which was going to be renamed LINK (Learning with Ifield at North Kent College) set up an art competition for a new logo design. I thought there would be no point entering the competition because of my previous failed attempts, but I was encouraged by my art teacher to submit a design. I did some research, looking at linking rings connecting from one another, and then a magnificent idea just appeared suddenly in my head. I quickly sketched my idea and submitted it into the competition. My design won becoming the first competition that I have ever won.

I had the pleasure of creating it digitally for LINK to be used as their logo. Months later, the post-19 that was going to be renamed LINK19 College, so I adapted the previous one to create their new logo.

LINK are pleased with their design and take great pride in it; they have printed the logos on mugs, braziers and cakes. I even had the honour to paint the design in their new communal room in 2021.
