Seaside Dream

Based on my imagination and memories of the seaside, especially trips with my grandparents in North Devon. This scene was painted through the coronavirus lockdown, I spent hours creating the impasto and colourful effect that became the eye-catching seascape it is now. From then on, I preferred painting over drawing. The name ‘Seaside Dream’ was given to the painting on the day of its completion as it appears dreamlike.

This painting was displayed in Gravesend Art Group’s 2021 exhibition in St. George’s Church, Gravesend, and ‘Take a Look’ in St. George’s Arts Centre, Gravesend.
